COMPANY PROFILE Hino Motors Ltd is a Japanese automobile manufacturer. It develops, manufactures and markets diesel buses and trucks. The company also produces heavy duty trucks, special purpose vehicles, and diesel engines for industrial and marine applications.

Hino Motors is a Japanese automobile manufacturer, and a subsidiary of Toyota Motor. The company primarily manufactures and sells medium and heavy commercial vehicles, such as trucks and buses, and light commercial vehicles under the Hino brand. These operations contribute the majority of consolidated revenue. In addition, Hino manufactures passenger vehicles under the Toyota brand, along with engines and spare parts. Domestic sales represent the largest share of Hino’s revenue, with Asia excluding Japan the next most significant contributor.

The Price Earnings (PE) Ratio is the most frequently used valuation indicator for a stock. However, there are times when this ratio cannot be used e.g. when the company reports a loss or profit is so minimal that it results in an abnormally high PE Ratio. Or Net Profit After Tax may be volatile and it is better to use Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) to value the company. We use the PE Band or Market Cap/EBIT Band to show whether a stock is overvalued or undervalued based on its historical valuation.

One indicator may suggest that a stock is overvalued while another suggest that it is undervalued. This does not help an investor who needs to make a definite decision whether to buy, hold or sell the stock.
